Hotel details
Ramblers will be spoilt for choice. The hotel is a great base to explore the North Pennines National Landscape and is 30 minutes' drive from Northumberland National Park. If you fancy a day trip, soak up some history at Hadrian's Wall, or step back in time at Beamish Museum. Alternatively, take a spring stroll along Tynemouth Longsands beach. All are around 50 minutes' drive from the hotel.
Guests get complimentary access to the leisure facilities. These include a 20-metre heated indoor pool, a sauna, a whirlpool, a steam room, and a gym. Golfers can choose between two 18-hole championship golf courses (supplements apply). Dining and drinking options include three restaurants and two bars. Enjoy a late night tipple in the wood-panelled Whiskey Snug with its cosy wingback chairs and coal fire.
