We had a lovely 2 nights at the Plough. All the staff were so friendly and the food was excellent,the bedrooms very spacious and I would have no hesitation in recommending this place. 10/10

The food is really good, not just 'pub grub'. The plough has a lovely beer garden and sells real ale. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent.

Staff lovely. Pub a bit cold in April. Food good. Very complicated app only TV in bedroom and coffee/tea machine again took some working out for we older folks, kettle would be fine! Overall though would recommend and return.

Food was excellent, room had everything we needed, some nice touches but we found it a bit unusual that our room wasn’t cleaned/replenished whilst we were there. Staff service was mixed some very attentive, efficient and friendly others didn’t seem aware of customer needs and the service at times seemed disorganised. This deal however was extremely good value and we would return to explore the beautiful countryside further and enjoy the fabulous food.

Difficulty in booking as we had to talk to the proprietor, not online. Dates requested were not available. Evening meal on the first night was good food but service was too slow - a 55 minute wait for the starter. Room defects were reported and dealt with promptly. The stay was very comfortable.
