- The hotel is located on Kings Waterfront. The Royal Albert Dock—home to Tate Liverpool—is five minutes' walk away.
- Facilities at the hotel include an all-day illy coffee bar. There is also the Bar & Grill restaurant, offering salads, steaks, burgers, pizzas, and more.
- Bedrooms have air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Only one negative comment. I ordered a plum crumble to have in my room and was given apple crumble instead without my knowledge. I couldn't be bothered to take it back, so I ate it anyway.

A wonderful stay we could not complain about anything! The hotel and room was very clean. We were on the 5th floor and the room had a view of the wheel and river, we had a bath with shower. The breakfast was excellent, something for everyone, the restaurant was well run and very organised. Thank you an amazing stay, a great location by the Albert dock.

Our 'superior' room was extremely tired - a hole in the solid headboard, stains on the carpet in several areas, stuffing coming out of the not very clean easy chair, and washbasin plug hole was blocked ( this was dealt with).

Had a great experience at this hotel, great location, close to docks and only short walk into town. Lovely spaceous rooms with great views. A lovely bottle of bubbly included in our booking which we enjoyed there before heading out to town. Staff friendly. Great breakfast, slightly busy, but not a bother. Parked nearby in John Lewis centre car park, 24 hrs.

Great view of the wheel from the room. When my phone fell and broke during check in Edward barman showed me on his phone where shops were to see if I could get it fixed. Receptionist very busy but on second visit down there male receptionist managed to set my heating a bit warmer. Breakfast was excellent. Was so grateful when Pam handed in my purse that I forgotten in my room with all my cards in it after I had checked out.

We had a lovely stay at the Leonardo hotel. The hotel is ideally placed at the Albert Dock right next door to the M&S arena and the Liverpool eye. Easy t get about via the docks which have lots of restaurants and a few shops. Easy to get into Liverpool Centre. The staff are all lovely and friendly and our stay was most enjoyable. We would definitely go here again.

We had been at the Leonardo in Chester the night before and this was a slightly better stay. There was a convention happening close by and this made the hotel very busy (especially bar & breakfast) - that said, we would return to the hotel for a future stay.

Booked through Travelzoo at excellent price to attend a concert at Anfield. Signs up in reception giving bus routes etc for concert, so easy and cheap to get to Anfield as bus terminal just over the road. Room was upgraded and we got a free bottle of fizz! Excellent.

Cooked breakfast was very poor. Fried eggs were literally thrown into a dish, all overcooked & in a solid pile. People discussed the food on display was worse than a "Joe's cafe" Restaurant staff were miserable not a smile between them. Dropped utensils were just put into the serving dishes after being advised by one of our group. Bar staff are totally opposite, smiles greeted us, good banter, very helpful

First rate location in a hotel that provided great value for money given the deal. Wide selection of food for breakfast, evening food was more basic but fine. All levels of staff very attentive.

My husband is a paralysed wheelchair user and we stayed in an accessible room. Yes there was plenty of space to manoeuvre a wheelchair and yes there was a roll in shower which were both appreciated. However the wardrobe area was illogical with fixed coathangers on a higher level rail with none on the lower level rail which would be accessible from a wheelchair. Ironically, although ironing facilities were available again, the iron was fixed to the wall at a level that could not be reached by someone in a wheelchair. I would suggest that as a compromise half the fixed coathangers be put on the lower level or just put additional fixed coathangers on the lower level and Resite the iron.

Location was amazing and staffvery friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had to move rooms as our first room had a very string smell of urine. We were moved very quickly and easily so staff were very good.
On the last night in our second room the toilet cistern would not stop running water which was noisy. ( incidentaly this was also an additional problem in the first room)
We did have some money deducted from our bill for the inconvenience which again was a welcome gesture by staff.
I feel the rooms were lacking some maintenance and deep cleaning which was a shame but we still enjoyed the stay . Breakfast was a buffet with a good choice and again staff were very good.

We had 3 nights here and the location was perfect. Staff were friendly, organised and helpful. Room was spotless, lighting a little lacking but overall great. Breakfast was very good quality. I’d definitely go there again

Beautiful comfy room, was upgraded to executive. Reception staff really helpful and friendly. Breakfast a bit chaotic on Monday but cooked food when it finally came out was hot and cooked well. Didn’t bother with breakfast on Tuesday. We had a bottle of Prosecco included in our package and was disappointed that they never had a cold bottle - we brought it home with us

Great location. Good size, clean room. Good value for money. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Things to improve on, an extractor fan needed in the bathroom, too much humidity after taking a shower.
Also no eggs at breakfast due to lack of a delivery.

this is my second stay at a Leonardo hotel and both times in the booking you got a bottle of prosecco , we asked if we could change to a bottle of wine as we don`t like prosecco , the price of a bottle of wine was a lot cheaper than prosecco , the bar manager wasn`t to keen on doing this , please could you change any future offers to allow guests to choice either a bottle wine (house) or prosecco

My wife became ill 2 days before we were due to go. I advised the hotel of our inability to attend due to her illness and asked if we could remake the booking and attend in the near future when she was recovered. They said that the terms of the booking stated that the date was fixed. We therefore had to forgo the booking and remained at home.

Perfectly located for all local sights and events. it’s really clean and comfortable and the staff were just brilliant. Rooms had everything I needed and it’s has a nice bar, efficient and well presented reception area and provides a good breakfast service. An added bonus was close and discounted parking. We had a great time here and would certainly use this hotel again. Thanks for a great stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Leonardo, the reason we gave it a four for value for money is because we got this through Travelzoo which included a bottle of Prosecco, breakfast and a late check out other wise it would of been an expensive stopover. We have got to say all the staff are superb and helped us save some pennies on our parking which was a little walk from the hotel, the area of the hotel is walking distance for shops and night life. the room was very clean and spacious for us although the bed and pillows where firm we had a good nights sleep. Brekkie was superb plenty to choose from to eat and drink and yes we would deffo choose this hotel if we could get it for the same price again.

Very comfortable hotel ideally placed to explore Liverpool or enjoy the Albert Dock area for food choice.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we had an excellent very tasty evening meal in the Grill.
The room was very clean and spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. Nice fluffy towels in the Bathroom with complimentary toiletries.

Visited Leonardo Hotel on the superb Travelzoo deal including breakfast and a bottle of prosecco. All staff were really lovely, our room was spotless and we had an amazing view of the river Mersey.

Our receptionist (think he was called Raya) was so so helpful, bubbly and nothing was too much trouble. He is a true credit to the hotel and having managed many staff over the years, I would consider him a valuable asset to the hotel group.

Shortage of ingredients to make spritzer cocktails. Bar does not take cash. Bar staff a bit blazee when requesting things which are not available. We have stayed before when a Jurys Inn and feel that the breakfast offer/presentation has deteriorated since our last visit. All aspects of the hotel were fine in our opinion and standards were high, particularly the warm and friendly service offered by the Liverpudlian staff. The Travelzoo deal is excellent and went very smooth. Thank you.

Great location to access all the attractions. Only a few minutes walk to hop on bus and Albert Dock with many restaurants and bars.Car Park nearby and you get a discount from the hotel so it cost us £24 for 48hrs which is reasonable.
The staff at this hotel were all friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a very pleasant stay. Our room was clean and spacious with a super comfy bed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the staff were lovely. We would definitely stay here again ,Liverpool is a great city for a short break.

We loved our girls trip and the hotel was fantastic, right from when we entered, the friendly reception staff made us feel welcome and changed our room so we could be nearer our friends.

I arrived before check in absolutely frozen after travelling on an unheated train for 3 hours. The receptionist was charming found and allowed early access to the room, switching the heating on from reception to help me warm up. I felt this was exceptionally kind and really appreciated. Everyone was really helpful from the room cleaners to the customer facing staff. I would return anytime

Location was great and the hotel provided everything I required, my only comment as an observation not a comment - the coffee at breakfast and in the bar was terrible, I think the coffee machines could either do with a clean or be rinsed properly after cleaning. Overall however I was very happy with my stay

The hotel is in a great location just on the Albert Dock and close many points of interest such as the Beatles Story and the Fab 4 shop and also the tour buses. The hotel is looking tired though and needs a bit of refurbishment. The breakfast was included with the Travelzoo deal so I availed myself but it was pretty poor quality food. The presentation of the hot buffet left a lot to be desired - the sausages and bacon were cheap products and even the eggs, although offering scrambled and fried options were unattractive in the buffet area. They were smashed around and dried up but until they were eaten they were left there in a sorry state of deterioration. The staff were lovely and helpful but there was a lot of standing around and chatting at the clearing up station and if I’m honest I would say they were over staffed and didn’t seem to have enough to do. I would not have been happy to pay the requisite £13 for the breakfast as it wasn’t really edible. I tried every morning to find something different and every day I had to leave the food because of the quality. This included freshly made poached egg that was absolutely saturated in vinegar and completely inedible. This needs to be fed back to the hotel because it can be rectified and would make such a difference to the overall experience.

Loads of white fluffy towels.
Tea and coffee facilities and complimentary biscuits.
We loved the bottle of prosecco that was in our travelzoo deal and our breakfast was sublime, ĺoads and loads of choice.

The attitude of the Bar Supervisor Ben, we asked to change our complimentary Prosecco to Red wine and he became quite stern and intimidating saying we can’t , I explained we stayed in the Leonardo hotel in Chester 2 weeks earlier and they were more than happy to swap it but he wasn’t interested, it was my wife’s birthday the next day so I didn’t want to get into an argument over it so walked away but i was really disappointed to be addressed in such a manner, both the receptionist and the bar man I spoke to earlier about it didn’t see it as a problem (the red wine is actually cheaper). The incident soured our complete stay.

Great location, really nice staff, lovely room, very comfortable beds and very quick to provide extra pillows when we requested them. We were able to leave our bags on arrival and departure so that we didn't need to lug them around with us all day and that was a great relief.

Only two things weren't great - the Travelzoo system doesn't allow selection of a twin room when booking and when I called the hotel they couldn't change the room so I had to call Travelzoo to get it sorted. I don't think this is the hotel's fault.
The second thing was the breakfast - it really wasn't great. Both mornings there was only white bread available and the bacon was so hard I could have laid a path with it. Otherwise, the selection was reasonable.

Very helpful staff from the beginning. The location is brilliant right by Albert Dock. Liverpool centre is compact and easy to walk to most places. We were able to leave our cases on the day we checked out until time to catch our train, which we walked to. Also very convenient for the bus/boat tours.

The staff were always polite helpful and friendly. Our superior room was very good and no complaints about the standard of furnishing. Breakfast choices were limited but adequate. It could feel a bit chaotic at breakfast because the hotel seems to act as an overnight stopover for coach tours . This meant we often had to request the cutlery be replenished

I rang the hotel as I wasn't able to park my car at Kings Dock carpark as it was full. The female receptionist told me I can park at Q-Park Liverpool One carpark and that my ticket would be validated by the hotel. However, when I asked the male receptionist in person, he told me the only carpark the hotel has a discounted arrangement with is Kings Dock. So, it seems I was given the wrong information on the phone. Please can you ensure that all your staff manning reception are aware of the carpark situation. Thank you.

TV channel should be more and Air conditioning should have a control in rooms . Otherwise location good . In breakfast everything good apart from half fried eggs both morning . Low quality eggs using .

There is no AC , there is an AC but you have to go to reception to ask to switch on . Middle of night can’t go to reception, very odd . TV was not working. Not even free view channels there . Very disappointed with the room .

It is in a great location, right by the Wheel
of Liverpool and Albert Dock! The room was nice and the staff friendly.Good breakfast too. I didn't automatically get my free bottle of prosecco, but once l reminded them l has given a card. At the bar there was no prosecco, but l was offered any wine I wanted, which to be honest I preferred. I would definitely stay again, using the Travelzoo offer.
